This 80,000 sq.ft. office building was designed to maximize views of the surrounding landscape while providing an efficiently planned, light filled work environment. Situated adjacent to a wetlands preservation area, the siting and drainage issues on the site were critical in producing a workable design. Interior spaces were designed to encourage interaction between employees through the careful design of common spaces such as the lobbies and cafeteria, which was programmed to serve as a restaurant for the general public as well. This innovative building programming suggested a connection between the corporate environment of the office building with the surrounding community, and also invited the public to enjoy views of the landscape.
